In the historic Tri-Taylor neighborhood of Chicago, the city offered incentives for development of vacant parcels of land. Phase 1 of Metro Place was designed to house 17 single-family homes, 33 town homes, and 2 multi-unit buildings, as well as multiple open recreational area along Roosevelt Road which is one the major arterial streets of this area, as well as some open spaces along Grenshaw Street.
The Architect of Record for this project is FitzGerald Associates Architects. Architect Shabbir Chandabhai was a part of the design team during his tenure with FitzGerald, from 2003 to 2008.
