BURHANIDESIGN was commissioned to design the unique concept diner, The Beastro. The client wanted this diner to work like a Chipotle, where the customer could choose the ingredients of their own meal before paying and sitting down to eat.
For a dining space, the choice of color is important. Different colors trigger moods and cravings for specific types of food. The restaurant specialty is burgers, so we settled on a red theme which is often associated with fast food and speedy service.
The space was designed to guide the customer past diners already eating to stimulate appetite. When they approach the glass ingredient station, they can design their meal and pay for it at the cashier’s station, allowing for quick flow of traffic.
The restaurant offered dine-in or takeaway options, but the use of glass windows and comfortable seating encourages customers to enjoy their meal inside. The clients decided on another location, which has not yet been secured, hence this project is in Design phase.
