The project underwent a few changes during the process and asked BURHANIDESIGN to adapt to the new requirements. We were first commissioned for a gut and rehab of the existing two-flat building in the Pilsen area. However as the real estate market was growing at this time, the client decided to raze the existing building to make way for a new 3-unit condo building.
BURHANIDESIGN assisted with the required zoning changes, administrative adjustment, as well as designing the building and procuring the building permits.
A Duplex unit was designed for the lower levels and 2 simplex units for the 2nd and 3rd floors. We also added 3 separate areas of rooftop decks for individual units to enjoy the outdoors and the city views.
This project is scheduled for completion in 2021.
